On May 23, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is scheduled to open to the public. The marine life theme park, brought to Dubai by Miral, will span five indoor levels across an area of around 183,000 square metres and include eight themed realms. These realms will feature up-close animal encounters, exhilarating rides, inspiring entertainment, and unmatched dining and shopping experiences. The park will be home to over 100,000 marine animals, including 150 species of birds, fish, mammals, and reptiles, spread across its eight realms.
The ‘Endless Ocean’ realm will house the world’s largest multi-species aquarium, containing over 25 million litres of water, and be a dynamic habitat for more than 68,000 marine animals. SeaWorld Abu Dhabi’s marine life habitats have been designed according to standards set by the Association of Zoos and Aquarium (AZA) and American Humane, and feature cutting-edge design and technology. The park also houses Yas SeaWorld Research & Rescue, which serves as a dedicated marine research, rescue, rehabilitation and return centre in the region.
