A new property is set to open in Saudi Arabia’s Amaala development in the north-west of the kingdom, with Rosewood Hotels and Resorts as its operator. The Rosewood Amaala will have 110 guest rooms and suites, as well as 25 Rosewood Residences, and a variety of dining options, including fine dining, casual eateries and club lounges. ACPV Architects Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel is designing the property, with a focus on preserving the natural flora and fauna in the area. As a regenerative destination, Amaala aims to be powered by 100% renewable energy, have zero-carbon footprint, and zero waste to landfill. The hotel’s construction and design were centered around ensuring the turtle population is left unaffected, as the endangered Hawksbill and Green Turtles have nesting sites around the beaches of the upcoming Rosewood Amaala hotel.

Additionally, the property will provide two rock pools to protect the coral reefs that wrap around the resort. As a lifestyle oasis, Rosewood Amaala will feature Asaya Spa with private treatment pavilions. Red Sea Global’s Amaala destination will include the Rosewood Amaala, Jayasom Wellness Resort, and Clinique La Prairie Health Resort.
