As part of its development plan to construct and run the AAM World Integrator World Centre in Dubai, VPorts has announced its first agreements with major advanced air mobility (AAM) players. Electra.aero, Falcon Aviation, and SkyDrive have teamed up with the centre to collaborate on technical and business aspects, with the goal of showcasing their operational expertise, providing MRO-related services if needed, testing flights in the dedicated airspace, and using the vertiport for commercial purposes.

The four partners will be working on utilizing the integrator centre, which includes dedicated flight-testing airspace and innovative technologies, to support the global growth of the AAM industry and fast-track the certification of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOLs) aircraft. VPorts aims to build and operate 1,500 vertiports worldwide by 2045, and these agreements are in line with the company’s strategy and ambition.
