To accommodate those observing Ramadan in 2023, Dubai’s shopping malls have announced extended opening hours, as confirmed by the city’s Festival and Retail Establishment (DFRE). Many of the popular shopping and leisure destinations will remain open beyond midnight during the holy month. The new timings are intended to allow for late-night shopping for those who are fasting between sunrise and sundown. Here are the revised opening hours of some of the city’s major malls:
- Mall of the Emirates: Open daily from 10am-1am.
- Dubai Mall: Monday to Thursday from 10am-midnight; Friday to Sunday from 10am-1am. Some dining outlets open until 2am.
- Ibn Battuta Mall: Sunday to Thursday from 10am-10pm; Friday to Saturday from 10am-midnight.
- Festival City Mall: Sunday to Wednesday from 10am-midnight; Thursday to Saturday from 10am-1am.
- City Centre Mirdif: Open daily from 10am-1am. Some dining outlets open until 2am.
- City Centre Deira: Open daily from 10am-1am. Some dining outlets open until 2am.
- Dubai Marina Mall: Sunday to Thursday from 10am-10pm; Friday to Saturday from 10am-11pm.
- Dubai Hills Mall: Open daily from 10am-midnight. Some dining outlets open until 1am.
- BurJuman: Sunday to Thursday from 10am-10pm; Friday to Saturday from 10am-11pm. Some dining outlets open until 11pm from Sunday to Thursday and until midnight on Friday and Saturday.
