Emirates and United have activated their codeshare partnership, expanding their market presence and enhancing their networks. As a result, Emirates customers can now fly to Chicago, Houston, or San Francisco and connect easily to over 150 US cities in the United carrier’s network via the three gateways. The partnership also unlocks popular destinations accessible from Emirates gateways, such as Atlanta, Austin, Denver, Minneapolis, and Phoenix. Additionally, customers of both airlines will soon be able to book connecting flights on a single ticket, making check-in and luggage transfer easier.

Emirates Skywards and United Mileage Plus members will earn miles when travelling on flights operated by the other carrier, and eligible customers travelling on codeshare flights will also enjoy access to Emirates and United lounges. Emirates’ chief commercial officer, Adnan Kazim, expressed excitement about the partnership, saying it will help the company meet demand from various customer segments. Emirates has also recently deployed its signature A380 aircraft to Bali and refreshed its livery design.
