Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority Reports Strong Performance with 42% Increase in Operating Profit in 2022

The Dubai Integrated Economic Zones (DIEZ) Authority has reported a significant increase in its operating profit and total revenue for 2022. The authority’s operating profit grew by 42%, while its total revenue increased by 29% compared to the previous year. The performance was driven by the impact of DIEZ’s new integrated model and its growing contribution to Dubai and the UAE’s economic development. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of DIEZ, emphasized the exceptional results, which point to a promising future for the authority and reinforce its status as a platform for attracting foreign direct investment. 

The authority’s ambition is to be an even bigger player in enhancing Dubai and the UAE’s competitiveness and economic attractiveness. With more than 22,000 companies and over 41,000 employees based in DIEZ, the authority aims to further nurture the growth of businesses by keeping pace with innovative trends and providing a flexible and supportive environment.
