2XL Furniture & Home Décor and Swiss-Belhotel International in collaboration with The Designers’ Studio have announced the ‘2XL Interior Design Challenge’ for the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) taking place in Dubai from 19to 22 April 2020. As part of the challenge participating members will submit design proposals to decorate Swiss-Belhotel International’s stand at ATM out of which one will be chosen by a panel of judges to execute the design using 2XL furniture and accessories.

According to World Travel & Tourism Council statistics, the direct contribution of Travel & Tourism to GDP in Uzbekistan was 3.2% of total GDP in 2017 that is 1.6 billion $. In 2018 the figure rose to 3.4% of total GDP, which was 1.3 billion $. By 2028, the total contribution of Travel & Tourism is forecast to rise to 3.4% of GDP, that is 3.07 billion.

Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company wins MOHRE Emiratization Award for the 2nd Consecutive Year

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has presented du, from Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC) with the MOHRE Emiratization Award for the second consecutive year at a ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi.
The ceremony was attended by H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, and H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs. Fahad Al Hassawi, Deputy CEO – Telco Services, received the award on behalf of EITC.
The telco won the award across all Semi Government categories for implementing notable policies to promote Emiratization and support UAE national employees. The award for this category is presented to an enterprise or company that meets several criteria within its institutional operating system, including the internal work environment, innovation rates, employee development and training programs.
Commenting on the win, Al Hassawi said: “We are deeply honoured to receive the MOHRE Emiratization Award for the second consecutive year, which is a testament to our transformative Emiratisation strategy –an integral part of the company’s focus towards providing career development for Emirati leaders and the aspiring national talent of tomorrow. flydubai marks the first anniversary of its flights from Dubai to Tashkent by participating in Aviation Airports Logistics Forum

Dubai-based flydubai is participating in the first edition of the Uzbekistan Aviation Airports Logistics Forum in Tashkent providing the airline with an opportunity to mark its first successful year of operations to the Uzbek market. The airline has carried more than 70,000 passengers between the Uzbek capital and Dubai since it launched flights in March 2019.

flydubai was the first national carrier from the United Arab Emirates to provide direct flights and operates five times a week from Tashkent to Dubai.  

Commenting on flydubai’s participation in the exhibition Jeyhun Efendi, Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations and E-commerce at flydubai, said: “We are pleased to see growing demand for travel in our first year of operations to Uzbekistan. Maps and Privacy

Apple is committed to keeping personal information safe and has built privacy into the core of Maps. With Maps, no sign-in is required and it is not connected to an Apple ID in any way. Personalized features, such as suggesting departure time to make the next appointment, are created using on-device intelligence. Any data collected by Maps while using the app, like search terms, navigation routing and traffic information, is associated with random identifiers that continually reset to ensure the best possible experience and to improve Maps.
