FSS launches ‘FSS Voice Commerce’ at Seamless Middle East

The solution will enable customers to conduct a range of transactions round-the-clock using voice assistants

2XL Furniture & Home Decor and Swiss-Belhotel International Announce Winner of ‘Meylas 2XL Interior Design Challenge’ for Arabian Travel Market

Fabidha Safar Rahman, a member of in5/DDFC, has been declared the winner of ‘Meylas 2XL Interior Design Challenge’ by 2XL Furniture & Home Décor and Swiss-Belhotel International. The competition was organised in collaboration with Behind the Scenes and was open to local designers who were invited to submit design proposals working with 2XL products to decorate the VIP room of Swiss-Belhotel International’s stand at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) being held in Dubai from 28th April to 1st May 2019.

As part of the challenge participating members submitted various proposals out of which Fabidha’s design was voted the best by a special panel of judges. According to the organisers, the objective behind this initiative has been to bring to the fore talented local designers who can play an intrumental role in the hospitality industry and the Arabian Travel Market, which is the largest travel and tourism trade fair in the Middle East, is the perfect arena to present them.

Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai celebrates Earth Hour 2019

Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai joined the Earth Hour celebration on 30th March 2019 from 8:30PM to 9:30PM emphasizing on its commitment to addressing environmental issues. The hotel took part of the movement through several initiatives.

Majority of the hotel participated by turning off their non-essential lights for an hour contributing to the global efforts to raise awareness of the impact energy savings. Also, the hotel turned down the lights in the lobby, restaurants and other public areas. The hotel management encouraged the guests to participate through placing letters in the rooms as a reminder to encourage them to do the same. Human Resources team prepared few activities at the colleague’s accommodation such as cake cutting, games, awarding for minimal consumption of water and electricity.

Earth Hour is now the world’s largest grassroots movement for the environment, inspiring millions of people to act for our planet and nature. It is an initiative led by the World-Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).

Commenting on the initiatives, Mr. Simon Moore, General Manager of Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai said, ” This year, we celebrated the diversity of life on Earth, and we invited not only our hotel guests and colleagues but also our friends and families. Earth Hour complements our Green Key strategy and ambition to be the driving force of a more sustainable hospitality industry”.

Mysk by Shaza Selected Amongst New Concept Brands at Arabian Hotel Investment Conference 2019

The upscale brand by Shaza Hotels was recently declared the winner of the pitch at SHIC in KSA 

Following its success at Saudi Arabia Hotel Investment Conference (SHIC), where Mysk by Shaza was voted the winner of the new concept brands pitch, the upscale brand will now make a pitch to owners at the Arabian Hotel Investment Conference (AHIC) in Ras Al Khaimah on 10th April 2019.
